The photo segments on this page are all 2700 dpi segments of the same scene shot at EI 400 and EI 800, respectively, intended to show the grain structure of Kodak Max Zoom 800 film (type 800-3).  A Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens was used on a tripod mounted camera.  Exposure was by matrix metering.   They were scanned direct from the negative on a Nikon LS30 scanner at 2700 dpi with Nikon's bundled software.  No Dust & Scratch removal nor sharpening was performed on the "grain" images.
